A complete list of what this site stores in your browser, what each item does and how long it stays. Every entry is needed for the site to work; none of them tracks you.

In short

This site uses only cookies and browser storage that it strictly needs to work and to stay secure. Storage of that kind does not require your consent under the ePrivacy Directive (Art. 5(3)), which is why you are not asked to accept or refuse anything: the notice you see on your first visit is there to inform you.

Every item is set by this site itself. None is used for analytics, advertising, social media or to recognise you on other sites.

What is stored

Cookies are sent back to this site with each request. Session and local storage stay in your browser and are read only by this site’s own scripts.

__Host-serac.csrf

Purpose: Security. A random token that proves a form was sent from this site and not forged by another one (protection against cross-site request forgery). Holds no personal data.
Lasts: 12 hours
Set for: Every visitor

__Host-serac.session

Purpose: Keeps the site's administrator signed in to the inquiry inbox.
Lasts: 8 hours, or until sign-out
Set for: The administrator only

serac:restore

Session storage

Purpose: Remembers how far down a page you were when you reload it, so you land where you left off.
Lasts: Erased as soon as it is read, and when the tab closes
Set for: Every visitor

serac:cookie-notice

Local storage

Purpose: Remembers that you have closed the notice about this site, so it is not shown on every page.
Lasts: Until you clear this site's data; after 12 months it is removed and the notice shows again
Set for: Visitors who close the notice

What is not used

No analytics or statistics tools, and no “anonymous” visitor counting.
No advertising, retargeting or social-media pixels, and no “like” or share buttons.
No third-party fonts, maps, videos or other embeds — everything is served from this site.
No cookies or scripts from anyone but this site.
No fingerprinting or other technique to recognise your device without storage.

Your control

You can delete or block cookies and site data at any time in your browser’s settings. The site keeps working without them, with some exceptions: without the security cookie the inquiry form cannot be sent, and without local storage the notice about this site shows on each visit.
